Product Description
First published in 1939, this seminal book startled the worlds of science and nutrition with its documented evidence of primitive populations encountering civilisation, adopting modern diets, and finding that their health worsened. It remains the basic book in this area and is essential reading for persons concerned with food and health.

Some of the material is very excellent, although the newer blood type concept perhaps renders this book more useful for people who are type O blood. I myself am type O and find the information very helpful. My type A girlfriend took on elook and said she knew it would never work for her.

Some people I know refer to this book and live and die by it like they have been brainwashed.
Basically, weston fee establish that people who ate processed foods had more tooth decay.
He said going back to a native diet would back tooth decay if you had it.
So what ? This book is far too long. The book never ends. Weston Fee just wants to let everyone know that we are all a bunch of ignorant pigs who live on processed food and that the people who he establish are all superior to us.
This book is just a Weston Fee ego trip, adage how fantastic he is under a take in of supposed healthy information. The book, is a hard read. The never ending sentences, terribly written, not quick to the point, very slow, very dreary, a pain to the eyes basically. Reading this book is exhausting, for all the incorrect reasons.
Some people read this book, and start eating raw eggs, raw dairy, raw meat and expect to become super healthy. Get a life.
The main problem I have with this book is the attitude. Weston Fee wants to make everyone feel second-rate to these people who live on a native diet.
He describes various groups from all over the world, explaining why they are superior to everyone in the industrialised western world.
Weston Fee says we are ignorant to the information of native tribes and ignorant to their culture. I would argue the same for them. Works both ways. Equipment is not permanently a terrible thing. We went incorrect when it came to what we eat though, so I agree with him on that.
I am simplifying it, but what else did he find out except that eating processed food affects your dental arch and causes cavities etc etc and so on. He also makes a tie to diet and crime, and additional relations of diet to additional things like intelligence etc. He goes into detail about what animals should eat and avoid etc, yes, there is some excellent information here, but couldn’t he present it a small better ?
Also, its not just the diet that is the vital thing, it’s the community and social interaction these groups of people had. This would make a huge difference in their health. There isn’t much sense of community in industrialised cities.
Again, I have no thought why people rate this book so highly.
This book could easily be about 100 pages long. Maybe if he unrestricted a sequel summarising it in bullet points, maybe I would have more respect for him.
Why is this book a classic ? I have no thought. Maybe because he was the first person to learn this information. He was the first to write about what this industrialised ‘white man’ food did to hurt us. But the information is simple. Its outdated too, considering everything else related to health in todays society.
This book only exists so people can use the axiom, ”but in the weston fee book he says”, and so people can feel like they belong in a group because they read this book. There are some snippets of wisdom though.
I do not reccomend this book at all. Just visit the website, look at the information on what it tells you to avoid and what it tells you to do if you want information.
By the way, the website never ever ever responds to your emails.
I wrote to them regarding eyesight, and improving it naturally with diet and eye techniques and habits. I never got a response.
Also, what is the Weston Fee foundation ? What do they do ? Why do they exist ? What would change if they didn’t exist ? Their being is pointless. How many times can you tell a name to eat grass fed butter before it gets annoying.

As a distributor for Super Blue Green™ Algae, I am permanently on the lookout for powerful, authoritive and accurate information relating the role our modernized food supply plays in the dramatically declining standard of health. I heartily recommend this seminal and invaluable work! ~ Patrick Babcock

It’s hard to judge that so much has changed in our food supply in only 100yrs! There is so much sickness around, and yet people reflect they’re healthy as long as they take their pills? How much energy do the people have eating the white flour and sugar diet of the modern world (and chicken). Confined animals live longer than animals in the wild, but are they pleased? Humans live like confined animals now, carefully housed, kept warm and fed at regular intervals. No dangers to be faced from wild animals. Many people survive to 90 or more, but they regularly can’t do more than supply a job for a custodial worker! The primitive people living according to Scenery’s Law may not have lived reasonably as long as moderns, in some climates, but they must have LIVED.

Just read a review of this research by a dentist from the 1930’s – 1940’s who was looking for healthy gums and teeth around the world and establish healthy immune systems as a result of food supply.
