Dairy is not excellent for humans. Period. It is meant for calves and not people. The authors have done the reader a fantastic disservice by preaching this fake information. Bring shame on on them.

Raw beef and liver recipes? Yuck…..that is what you will find in here. The thoughts are certainly appealing, and some of it is dead on, and others I question. But, there are some excellent recipes in here, just steer clear of the raw meat and seafood and you should be excellent, lol……

Question any cardiologist or physician and they will assure you that animal fats and cholesterol are NOT healthy components of a excellent diet. In fact, any cardiologist will tell you that the more animal fats you eat, the more at risk you are for heart disease, cancer, and additional deadly diseases. This book recommends that you eat tons of stout (butter, cheese, milk, meat) regularly. Seriously, how can you reflect this is a healthy diet?! It’s not. For a name wanting to loose weight and/or get healthy, stay away from this book. Not to mention that the book suggests you go to ridiculous lengths to prepare the food you eat…unless you have tons of spare time and a death wish, stay away from this book.
IF you want to check out REAL health advice, look into Dr. Dean Ornish’s books. He’s a cardiologist and has written tons of books that are proven to help people loose weight, lower cholesterol, back heart disease, and gain overall health. And, he’s a doctor, not a quack nutritionist.

Some friends had referenced some recipes and thoughts from this book, so I got a copy. I’m really underwhelmed. The attitude and tone of the book, starting with the pergorative “Diet Dictocrats” place me off to anything excellent that may have been establish within it.
I did find it appealing to find a recipe for the Russian fermented drink, Kvas.

People will buy anything. Our ancestors ate terribly and only lived to be 50 at most. Why would we want to eat like them again. I agree in not eating processed foods and the less perservatives the better, but everything else is just not even common sense.
