Terrible book, terrible tale, terrible characters nearly a joke terrible. Hard to judge that anyone loved this all to predictable nonsense. As a fan of the genre I had high hopes but had to force myself to end just to make sure it was as terrible as I thought. It was. In fact the tale only gets worse as it goes on. You will be dissapointed if you read this book.

A thrilling and awesome read. These were the days when Stuart Woods wrote exciting adventures that were so suspenseful you could’nt do anything but read until you were finished the whole book. Now all he seems to do is write about stupid Stone Barrington and it is sooo dull. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes a quick and thrilling tale!!

Unabridged Audio Book
Reader: Robert Lawrence gets an A+.
This book held my interest from the start. I thought the plot twists were excellent. I especially liked the mystery of the missing “suicide” victim.. I listened to this book in my car and there were a few “driveway” moments involved in the process. The reader can make or break and audio book and Robert Lawrence was certainly a maker.

There can never be enough detective novels set in NYC for my taste (I could be bias since I live here). After reading this book I can say that I look forwards to reading the rest of the Stone Barrington series. This book is very well written and the tale was very enjoyable. Of course the most vital thing was the the tale flowed,the pages kept turning.
