This title is misleading. The first three National Parks I tried to look up were omitted. Having visted Sleeping Bear Dunes in Michigan, Harper’s Ferry in West Virginia, and Abraham Lincoln in Indiana, I looked them up first. They were not included. Again, National Geographic has titled the book in a misleading fashion. It is not a reference book to use to plot a trip. We motor home, and want to know every NPS in the state we are passing through. Not just the favorites of the NG staff.

My family tree and I like to travel but especially like to visit the National Parks and Monuments. If we could possibly visit them all, we would. We all like to take walks and hikes and LOVE to photograph our way through these experiences. This book helps us to research where to celebrate our vacations next. It is very helplful.
