I’d give this 3.5 stars. Fun and simple to read- kept my attention and it was free! Worth a read, though I agree that the kindle format was not stellar- lots of typos, occasionally a bit hard to read.

I wouldn’t normally have bought this, but it was a free download for Kindle. I am so glad I did! Read it last night, and am hooked! I pretty much loved everything about it. A young girl that has had a less than desirable life learns that she is “special.” Mentor/national Kizzy has permanently known this, and gifts Allie with the Moonstone.
The underlying messages in this book were phenominal. Make excellent choices – regardless of your situation in life, we should all make decisions we can live with tomorrow. Stay right to your real friends – they will permanently be there for you when you need them.
Local terrible boy becomes a hero in this book, and I look forwards to seeing more of him helping Allie in future escapades. Brilliant read – I’m off now to buy the second!
