IF YOU THOUGHT TINSELTOWN WAS TOUGH . . .Tori Spelling might have grown up with everything a girl could wish for, but these days she’s just another suburban effective mom . . . whose kid regularly recognizes her in the pages of US Weekly. Welcome to Mommywood, where the stars are two feet tall and your neighbors know who you are before you go in. Like most parents, Tori wants her children to have the one thing she didn’t have as a kid—a normal family tree. On their hit Oxygen reality show, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, the starlet and her spouse Dean McDermott regularly wrestle dirty diapers, host the neighborhood block party, and tackle temper irritability on the red carpet. But when the cameras aren’t rolling, Tori’s still having awkward run-ins with a ex- 90210 costar at a laser tag birthday party, scooping rogue poo out of the kiddie pool on a resort trip, and racing to win back her pre-baby body before the media starts calling her stout. For all her suburban fantasies, Tori Spelling is no June Cleaver. With the same down-to-planet wit that made her entertaining memoir sTORI telling a #1 New York Times bestseller, Tori tells the hilarious and humbling tales of life as a mom in the limelight, from learning to be the kind of parent her own mother never was to revealing what it’s like to raise a family tree while everyone is watching. Mommywood is an irresistible snapshot of celebrity parenthood that you won’t get from the paparazzi.

I LOVE Tori’s books. This is just as excellent if not better than her first. A def. fun read for anyone. Not only is her tv show cute, her family tree and friends are lovable and she can write a fantastic book of tales that everyone can tell to in one way or another. I went into reading both her and her mother’s books on the fence, and after attempting to read her mother’s terrible excuse for a book, I am completely TEAM TORI!!!

And poor readers. What’s the matter with this woman?
She complains about having too much. Boo hoo. She
admits she lives for press attention, but she’s sacrificing
her children to be in the spotlight. Stop your complaining.
Most people would trade nearly everything for this life.
The book is the same ancient, same ancient. Boo hoo. Boo hoo.
Woe is me — and the reader.

What is so pathetic is that this book is reflective of the intelligence level of readers in this country. Why anyone would waste their money on reading this inanity is painstakingly appalling. It’s no marvel that the intellectual and cultural i.q. of this country is so low.
