Honestly limited glossary. And its recognition of conjugated verbs is rather missing. It’s French counterpart is much better.

I was really disappointed with this book. It doesn’t give enough definitions and even the ones it does give are not permanently in perfect sentences.Considering it is Merriam Webster’s book, I was even more disappointed.

I bought this for a very point purpose. I was reading ‘The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao.’ It’s a fantastic book that is interspersed with sentences and phrases in Spanish, many of which are to some extent profane or informal slang. This glossary is nearly useless for the purpose for which I bought it. Others may find it to be helpful, but if your needs are similar to mine, it’s a waste of six bucks.

The “Go to Location” doesn’t work as an “alpha” function. This makes normal glossary usage – i.e. enter a word to seek definition/translation – impossible.

I just downloaded and ongoing using this glossary. Some improvements must have been made since a lot of the past reviews were posted because i am finding that there is a pretty robust number of words in the glossary as well as synonyms. Most nouns and adjectives are easily identified. While some of the verb conjugations are not recognizable, if you know enough Spanish to search for the infinitive, i have had excellent luck. If you are a name looking to increase your vocabularly and just need a Spanish glossary to help translate, this seems to be a fantastic resource. I like the ease of use that a built in glossary provides and I am pleased with the buy thus far.
