   After I saw the movie, Julie and Julia, I got excited to buy Julia Childs Books. I now know how much she struggled with this second volume because I know her tale.

   Not terrible for a woman who very well may have been an agent for the OSS, WWII version of the CIA. I permanently despised listening to Julia Child, but her cooking techniques and recipes are brilliant. I own every book she published. I really have 1st editions of “Mastering the Art of French Cooking.” One of my favorite and mostly used cookbooks.

   I received the Art of French cooking by Julia Child, et.al. and establish out that I’m not the cook I thought I was. It’s a bit beyond the person who enjoys cooking but likes the 30 minute meal. It is a treasure and I will try to make a few things out of it, but I doubt I would live very long if I ate the way Julia cooked.

   The book is very instructive, with nice commentaires and drawings.
   
   It is really a must have in all kitchens!
