Bought it out of curiosity and didn’t like as a book. If you were to follow their sugestions, you would need to make a lot of notes trying to make sense out of it.

The details that were left out of D’Adamo’s first book “Eat Right 4 Your Type” (because they were considered too technical for the all-purpose public) are all here, building this a perfect diet and lifestyle manual for persons interested in understanding what is right for their individual blood type. Lots of current health research relating to blood type is fully referenced, giving it a excellent scientific basis. To make the book work fully you have to know not only your basic blood type, but also your ’secretor status’ – available by further hard. It takes a small while to get to grips with the ‘2-Tier’ system used by the leader, one tier for persons who may only want to comply with their recommended foods to a limited extent, and one tier for persons who want to do it all the right way. Also watch out for the typos in this first edition, and check out D’Adamo’s web site for corrections before getting too fixed on what you can or can’t eat.

I was disappointed in the info in this book. I thought it was going to be informative and something that I could tell to and follow. It is just another book on what ‘could’ be. I do not reflect his work is substantiated to the point that one could judge in his so called ‘findings’. Any reviews I read on this book was positive, encouraging and sounded like the excellent Dr. had something more levelheaded.
