When you compare this to the first books in the series that were so fantastic you would reflect that this book was written by a teenager. I prefer the Suzanne Brockmann style of writing.

Another in Ms. Coulter’s FBI series. Dillion Savich and Lacey Sherlock are in the middle of this book with two on going plots. Seven year ancient Autumn Backman can talk to Savich with her mind and over fantastic distances and she’s in distress, huge distress. Autumn calls Dillion for help and she doesn’t pick the best of times, Dillion is in the middle of a bank robbery and he is one of the hostages. The bank robbers are a mother, daughter and boyfriend and they are stone cold killers. When Dillion makes his go to stop the robbery along with the help of the bank guard, the mother is killed and the daughter is shot, but not down. While in the hospital the daughter is broken out by the boyfriend and they vow revenge on Dillion. Back to small Autumn’s problem, her uncles and her grandmother want her and will kill anyone who stands in the way of getting her and her talents. Uncle Blessed can use mind control on everyone who looks into his face except Autumn. Uncle Grace can change his looks so he looks like anyone he wants to. Autumn and her mother turn to Ethan Merriweather, sheriff of Titusville, Virginia for help and at first he doesn’t judge what they are telling him, but after a run in with Uncle Blessed he’s a believer. These two plots inter-twine to make a quick paced read and a real page turner. When you start this book be prepared to not want to place it down until you are done. Ms. Coulter has once again agreed us a winner!

I had an interest in purchasing this book, but the Kindle version is just too expensive. I’m on a limited budget, and there are plenty of additional books that are available to me at a better fee.

Excellent read; lots of action, and appealing characters. Autumn is a very special small girl.
