this looks like it could be fun and appealing. The instructions are clear and one day I reflect I want to try. But, right now, I have so many additional thing going on I’m not going to place this at thE top of my list.

I was looking for more of a new sewing technique. But after looking at the book it was clear that a person that was going to invest a lot of time into sewing the pieces together with a very sophisticated sewing machine was required.

When i read all the reviews I was excited about getting this book. Now that I got it. I’m thinking what is the huge deal with such fantastic reviews??? Honestly I would be worried to use my sewing maching to make these baskets.. Every project in this book is sewed with a sewing machine… some of the bowls are pretty and I was hoping there would be some nice hand bags in there, but they are ancient lady bags IMO… I just don’t get it…. IMO all the excellent reviews are decieving… I give this book 3 stars because it is a very nice book, with lots of color photos of the bowls and a few hand bags…

I received this book last week and I simply cannot wait to start. The items inside look simple to do and they look incredible. I’m really looking forwards to effective on these projects.

I had briefly seen this book at a quilt shop recently and was pleasantly surprised to find it on Amazon at about half the fee. It’s a fantastic book with a lot of new, innovative thoughts for using long, thin leftover fabric scraps. The photos are clear and explicit as are the instructions for building things with simple clothesline and fabric and a sewing machine. I am enrolled in a class in a few weeks to learn the process as well and this book was recommended by the teacher.
