Very insightful and simple read. Once I got past the what to expect the first 2 years I was starved for more inside information on raising my son and this reasonably informative. I certainly will share this with my girlfriends.

I have really loved reading this book! My son is now 10 months ancient and I wish I had started reading this book before he was born! It is really appealing to learn that some of the ways we as society treat boys differently from girls can have a lasting impact on them. My experience with grown men makes me realize how much sense the things in this book make. Boys and men really aren’t as “tough” as society tries to make them, they are really very loving and soft hearted, maybe even more so than girls at times. I am glad that this book made me admit this now so I can nurture my son and help him to become a strong and confident
adult!
