Product Description
The narrator of this extraordinary tale is a man in search for truth. He answers an ad in a local newspaper from a teacher looking for serious pupils, only to find himself alone in an abandoned office with a full-grown gorilla who is nibbling delicately on a slender branch. “You are the teacher?” he questions in amazement. “I am the teacher,” the gorilla answers. Ishmael is a creature of immense wisdom and he has a tale to tell, one that no additional human being has ever heard. It is a tale that extends backward and forwards over the lifespan of the planet from the birth of time to a future there is still time save. Like all fantastic teachers, Ishmael refuses to make the lesson simple; he demands the final illumination to come from within ourselves. Is it man’s destiny to rule the world? Or is it a privileged destiny possible for him– one more wonderful than he has ever imagined?

This is the worst book I have ever read! Comeon Daniel can’t you reflect of anything more thought inspiring than a telepathic gorilla trying to save the rainforest? This is the most hippiesh book i have ever read! NO ONE BUT TREE HUGGERS CARES ABOUT THE RAINFOREST SO GO PREACH TO THEM!

Man, I can’t stand this book any longer. The tree-hugging scenery of the book is driving me crazy.
Do yourself us all a favor, Quinn – unwrap your arms from the tree and get your head out of your rear-end.
We’re at war with the world? Please.

We judge in the sacred planet, the life-giving force around us,
and in the Eden from whence we came,
before man ate from the tree of knowledge,
before man fell from grace
and descended into violence, exploitation, industrialization and pollution.
We judge in Sustainability, our hope for salvation,
and the limiting of harmful agricultural,
the protection of biological diversity,
the communion of man,
the reduction of possessions,
the elimination of greed,
the recycling of matter,
and the unending circle of life.
Amen

A gorilla named Ishmael becomes the teacher for a naive, non-Christian man who is gullible enough to judge anything but unable to see through politically-right, tree-hugging, anti-Christian lines. The tale of Creation is called “mythology” by the characters in the book. As a replacement for of discussing God, both characters refer to “the gods” even stating that they had to “eat of the tree of knowledge of excellent and evil” so they would learn”the truth”, which is really falsehoods. Jesus is listed as a prophet like Moses and even place on the same level as Confusious and Mohammed. The gorilla claims that the caucasians were the ones who fell in the Garden and that the “mythical” tale of Cain and Abel was referring to the Semites’ difficulties in apt the survivors of conflict in the area. He even calls the Bible “Semite war propaganda.” The entire lesson the gorilla teaches is whether or not we should be “at the mercy of the gods” as a replacement for of “trying to choose who lives and dies” through raising cattle etc. and storing up more food than we need or being agriculturalists. The lesson that Ishmael is trying to teach is that our truths are falsehoods, and if we do not revert to hunters and gatherers, then the evolution process will stop and everyone will die. He claims that human beings are not the highest creatures and more creatures are yet to come into being from us. This is certainly not a book for Christians or persons who may waffle and fall prey to these unChristian and illogical falsehoods.
