The book is pretty straightforward and helpful. The mini self-examinations at the end of each section either reviews highlights the major concepts concisely or indicates that you weren’t paying enough attention. I am HAPPY with my buy. Very clear small psychology book that can also be entertaining to read.

I got this book in okay condition.It was used and nearly all the pages were written on from the previous owner. Despite this, the book is simple to follow along with and at the end of each section there is a quiz to test the retention of information (granted a name has not already filled these in…with pen…). The words are tiny print which makes the book a bit cumbersome, but all in all, a excellent read if interested in psychology of learning and behavior.

Learning and Behavior is very well written, clear, and effective text for Psychology students. This book covers some history of psychological theory, the actual application of persons theories, and conducting and understanding behavioral research and it’s implications about the learning process of humans and animals. The mini-chapter reviews and end of chapter tests are brilliant for solidifying information in one’s memory and aiding in the application of such information. This book provides evidence that a smaller, condensed, and micro-all ears text is far more effective for studying a theme, than a huge text book attempting to take in too many fields worth of information.
