Not a whole lot of additional information about painting in all-purpose. Is fantastic as a broad overview, lots of examples. It just didn’t go into too much detail about anything, and technique was hardly covered.

This book introduces many options for acrylic paints and supplies. Enough to keep a person painting and experimenting on the canvas for a VERY long time. We bought this for my 7 yr ancient who also got a beginners basic acrylic paint set. It isn’t anything my child wanted to read, but fantastic information for parents to use when deciding what additional art supplies to buy if child stays interested and when helping child learn about painting.
