This is an Awesome book. My family tree has painstakingly loved reading this series (we’ve read books 1, 2, & 3 so far). My son just turned five and he likes listening to the adventures of Hitch and Toothless. PS – so does my spouse.

This is the third book in a fantastic series. Although you will notice it’s not exaclty like the movie, but is very fun. I like to read this to my small national boys. They are simple tales, but have some huge words that are fun to talk about. It’s hard to find tales appropriate for young kids that we can delight in reading too. The art in here is crude, but the guys like them.

This entire series features Hitch the Dragon, which is a character my students can easily identify with. The kids can’t wait to hear about Hitch’s new adventures. The leader has done a fantastic job hooking kids on this series and introducing them to longer chapter books. Readabilty is about 4th grade level.

My 9yr. ancient loved this book. He says it has lots of adventure, not a dull moment and you will like the ending. Any book that can keep a child reading on there own is top notch with me.
