I loved “How Not to Look Ancient” and was not disappointed by Charla Krupp’s newest book. All I can say is, “it’s about time!” So much fantastic information, even for people like me who don’t have a huge figure problem. Loved the section on how your handbag can make you look larger! Lots of things you don’t reflect about but can make a huge difference. Also fantastic that she shows you how you can make changes that don’t have to be expensive. Use of real women as models gives the reader more motivation!

I establish this book to offer much excellent advice. My problem is that I’m a very visual learner, and would have appreciated many more photos or illustrations as examples. The before and after photos of “normal” women, one per chapter, were reasonably helpful. The photos of celebrities did not tell to the problem area being highlighted and were rather puzzling. For example, the chapter on “Arm Flap” showcased women with very toned arms. The huge busted celebrities were all showing full cleavage in evening gowns; not a frequent look for most of us. Two of the celebrities in the Muffin Top/Back Stout chapter were Anne Hathaway and Halle Berry. Huh? The Huge Booty chapter shows JLo and Beyonce in body hugging evening gowns…I don’t reflect they consider their booties to be a problem! The jean info in this chapter is brilliant.
Overall, I’d say it’s a excellent reference. Also see “Does This Make Me Look Stout?: The Definitive Rules for Dressing Thin for Every Height, Size, and Shape” by Leah Feldon.

I adore this book! I never thought that just by dressing different, I can look slimmer. I permanently figured that how I looked in one furnish was how I would look in another. Thinking like that was dead incorrect. I took a couple of outfits out of my closet and paired them up using some of Charla’s tips. I felt more confident straight away because I looked GOOD! Go get this book, you’ll be glad you did.

Her earlier book. How to Never Look Ancient Again, was inspired but this one is headed straight up the bestseller list. The before-and-after makeovers are more stunning than any ever shown in a magazine. It proves her points about sleeves, skirts, etc. so swiftly. Her advice is timeless and simple to follow- at any fee point–Walmart to couture. Brava Charla Krupp.
