My used book arrived in very excellent condition just as advertised. I highly recommend purchasing used college books via Amazon. Thanks.

I’m a master’s student right now, so I’ve been through my honest share of text books. But, this has got to be one of the most dull textbooks I have ever come across. Granted, you may be thinking, “what textbook isn’t?,” but this book is something else. While the content is fantastic (a fantastic resource for persons preparing for real research), the presentation is terrible. The book clarifies every tiny small detail, and by so doing, the reader finds him or herself inundated with unneeded, incredibly obvious information. If you were to remove the content intuitive to any college student, the book would be half as long and a much more appealing read. The most dull part of the book, but, has got to be the cartoons they’ve included. I LOVE it when textbooks include legendary comic strips that apply to the topic, but this textbook has made it’s own comics and they are the lamest things ever.
sample comic dialogue:
Suzzy: “Dr. Johnson, I’m thinking my researching question should be: “what is the absolute best way to teach history to 9nth graders?”
Dr. Johnson: “Sorry, Suzzy, but that question, as stated, isn’t researchable.”
Sample dialogue #2:
teacher: “Now, I can’t require you to participate in this study, but if you want to get a excellent grade in this course…”
Student: “Hey, wait a minute. That’s unethical!”
The cartoons are really kind of comical, but only because you can have fun building fun of them.
Ok, so the book isn’t entirely terrible. The fact that every small detail is included could be beneficial to some, but for me, the presentation feels belittling.
