I bought this book lacking really looking inside of it. The take in was colorful and it was in the journaling section of the bookstore. That seemed like enough to me.
I could have saved myself some money if I’d taken a minute to skim through it. The majority of the book is about alternative up things you find on the ground and starting collections with it. She goes on at part about how if you are bored with your surroundings you just aren’t looking hard enough. I have to disagree. Sometimes a location is just dull and telling me I’m not trying hard enough isn’t going to change that reality.
This book will probably be appreciated by fans of her additional books, but for persons who aren’t familiar with her work, if you are looking for eye candy or deep thoughts, this isn’t the place to find it.

This book is really fantastic! It makes you see the world around you in a whole new way! I frequently hear, “I’m not creative at all” or “Where do you get all your thoughts?” or “I don’t have an artistic bone in my body.” Well, this book is the answer. You ARE creative. You DO have thoughts. EVERYONE has some artistic gift.
The back take in says, “Everyone is an artist.” Yep. I judge that. God gave us all different gifts, you just have to find yours.
