Dear Reader:
In a previous life, before the time of Plum, I wrote twelve fleeting romance novels. Red-hot screwball comedies, each and every one of them. The romances were originally published between the years 1988 and 1992. All immediately went out of print and could be establish only at used bookstores and yard sales.
I’m pleased to tell you that persons tales have now been re-unrestricted by HarperCollins, open in nearly original form. I’ve done only minor editing to right some embarrassing bloopers missed the first time around.
Hero at Large was the very first book published. It’s about a sexy guy who cooks a potholder in spaghetti sauce and charms a single mom and ex- world-class ice skater with the promise of a ride on his Zamboni. It’s got broken bones, giant turkeys, cantankerous cars, and Aunt Edna.
This was the book that changed my life forever and made me a published leader. When Hero finally reached the bookstores, I was nearly arrested for loitering in Walden’s. I stationed myself in the romance section and wouldn’t place until I saw a name buy my book. It took three days!
Delight in!

I am a huge Janet Evanovich fan and have read every one of her books. Many of the early ones are really excellent but not this one. This is the worst one of her books! It’s corny, stupid, and lacks all the humor establish in the rest of her novels .

I establish this book at the Wal-mart in E.C. california for 5.95, it was a fantastic read I finished it in a day. I find the Heroine’s ungainliness refreshing and I like her aunt and Kenneth Knight/Callahan’s mom. I would’ve liked the dinner scene with Ken’s mom, sister and Chris’s aunt to have been wrote in the book, why I only gave the review four stars. Chris should’ve kept the mustang.

I loved this book as I do all of Evanovichs books. But i establish i was just getting annoyed with main character she was just a small to much for me needed to diminish up a bit. But as permanently brilliant support characters.

What a fun read. A nice break from reality. Chris has her hands full with Ken who stopped to help her with her broken down heap of a car. She is reasonably adept at breaking his body parts, but not uncovering his “secrets”. This is a certain fun romp.
