I didn’t reflect I would delight in this book as much as I did! I also read “Slow Hands” by Leslie Kelly and liked that too! These 2 books both start at the same charity auction, so reading them both is like reading a sequel, although they don’t need to be read together, nor do they need to be read in a particular order. I really liked “Slow Hands” a small better, but I reflect it’s because the male character was more my taste in men! Both were romantic, sexy, and had enjoyable characters. I don’t normally read Harlequin (although I do like romance novels) but I got one of these free on Kindle, and then bought the additional because it really was that excellent!!! Buying the two together would make a fantastic gift for a name, or a nice gift for yourself for a long, bone idle weekend!

This is part 2 of the charity bachelor auction (1st was Slow Hands) – Annie Davis needs a date for her parents Anniversary party and decides to spend all her savings to at charity bachelor auction to get a date. The last man her family tree thought she was dating was married and she can’t face going alone to see her family tree. Annie thinks she is buying a safe blue collar paramedic but due to error in the program she bought Irish Sean Murphy `international professional escort’. I like this leader style of writing permanently a sure thing – buy both tales and delight in!
Looking forwards to the follow Harlequin Blaze novels; Play with Me (Harlequin Blaze) due out February 2010, Midnight Resolutions (Harlequin Blaze) due out January 2010 and Her Sexy Valentine (Harlequin Blaze).

I read this because it was a free go at one time on Kindle. After I read it, I searched out as many Leslie Kelly books as I could find. I haven’t been disappointed in a single one. Fantastic read!

I read “Slow Hands” when I downloaded it for free on my Kindle. It was a quick, fun read (took me a couple of hours) and when I establish out there was a sequel, even though I normally never buy “series” books like these, I was intrigued enough to buy it. Glad I did. The sequel was just as excellent, if not better.
The basic premise is a mixup at a charity auction (ongoing in “Heated Rush”). A paramedic gets placed in the incorrect slot with a male gigolo. That’s the first book, and it’s a excellent one. At the end of it, there was a blurb asking something like “marvel what happened to the additional bachelor?” and I was hooked. So I bought the book.
I don’t reflect this situation would hold up in the real world, but that’s what escape fiction is for, so it does the job. The hero is not your ordinary gigolo and the heroine is no prude. I fun twist and quick read. The leader is a very excellent writer and I’m surprised she doesn’t have longer books published. Maybe she does and I haven’t establish them yet. I’ll be on the lookout.
