Since I bought, Growing Vegetables West of the Cascades: The Perfect Guide to Organic Farming, I have not been able to place it down. It is a very informative book and all about growing vegetables in our Pacific Northwest climate. The leader goes into fantastic detail about making and maintaining the fertility of our soil for growing vitamin rich vegetables. He includes in his topics, composting, garden preparation, watering, seeds and transplanting. I am so pleased that I establish this book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in organic farming. This book is packed with useful information and is simple to read.
