43 yo (and getting better) Beginer entrepreneur-
This review refers to the Audiobook edition-
Brian Tracy is indeed a “self-made man” as “only in America” could take place, yet his message comes across all cultures and nationalities.
In a way, I am ashamed to say that I have not written my goals down as Mr Tracy tells me to, maybe it has been the fact that drastic changing events have told me to “get a hold of the ship as the storm is arresting you” and let the “harbour seeking be done after the cool set in”.. hat being said, I must confess I was a bit uneasy at first with the cd, for aMr Tracy’s tone of voice is that of your “gentle uncle Ben” giving you cearfully chosen advice.. for being in the road for long period of time, it has a narcitic effect that took me reasonably a while to fight off the sleepingness it causes.. so be warned while driving.
Mr Tracy is encyclopedict in his extension of the studies he has done himself on the theme of goal setting and attitudes toward sucess.. he is also a master pragmatic in implementing such thoughts as FDr. Goldatt’s Theory of Consrains to Occam’s razor’s as tool you can use in your day-to day affairs.. and this is done with the power of that who has tried it himself.
This cd assumes that you start in a right zero level so you are exposed to many impediments to sucecces that maybe you do not have.. thsi can make it heavym fortunatly, all the cds have many tracks so you can skip over lacking missing substance.
There are part you may agree or disgree on as tactics to your own road.. such as “be a master in your meadow”, right that specialization has niche money wells.. but the same is right of generalist.. I permanently remeber form “Reflect and grow rich” that specilized knowledge is cheaper and far more abundant than you know..
I you are a Attention Deficent as I am, this bok certainly helps a lot

Most of the content is fantastic, albeit Mr. Tracy seems to have a hyper-ambition about how much money one earns. Sorry to say, I had a hard time listening to Mr. Tracy’s manner of language of the material; it is very monotone and dry. If he could add some humor and excitement into his manner of language, listening to the audiobook would be a much more delightful experience.

Listened to more elaborate presentation of the same leader, and these tapes only had very small content. Also referrals are to surveys generally made decades ago, which somehwat weakens the credibility.

I establish this book along with most of Brian’s additional books very helpful and as permanently filled with levelheaded content (MEAT).
Most books like this are just rehashed “hackneyed” information but Brian permanently takes a “traditional” principle or thought and has a way to make his own twists to it which makes what he is writing simple to comprehend and tangible.

Brian Tracy certainly knows how to motivate you, this book will get you going in the right direction.
If you do what he says, then you certainly will make it. I judge it boils down to daily disciplines.
I like the thought of asking better questions too. This is a very excellent book.
