even though the cookbook is gluten free, the recipes call for “refined sugars”, I want to see a more in excellent health approach than using such refined ingredients which is very harmful to your health

Excellent recipes for celiacs that allow you to feel “normal” again! Delight in comfort foods with this book that has wheat flour substitutes. Hagman is well respected in the community.

This cookbook may be excellent for some, but one of the main ingredients in nearly every recipe is potato starch, to which I and a large number of additional people are food-sensitive. I was also shocked to see that the chocolate chip cookie recipe relies on vegetable shortening. Hydrogenated fats should be a thing of the unhealthy past. I am giving the book away.

This is one of the best GF cookbooks I have establish. I have served several of the recipes to people who didn’t know they were GF and they though them tasty. It is a must have in your arsenal of GF tools.
