There is a tale of a dying uncomplaining that tells of some frightening visions near death that might distrub some individuals. The title of “Glimpses of Heaven” applies to most of the tales but not all. This book might provide a dreaded image or long lasting dread in some readers.

I am very disappointed in this book. I had anticipated reading and gathering information to help me in my hospice and grief work. It is written in a very “religious way”. I would not recmmend buying this book.

You must read this book if you want to be convinced that Christ is your savior. If, but, you want to learn about the dying experience lacking a thick frosting of Jesus and Heaven and dogma, then this is not the book for you.

I establish the book appealing; but, it was not as I had expected. I was hoping for much more on the actual experiences of the dying—that is the expressed focus of the book. Sorry to say, that topic was seemingly hit-or-miss; as the background tale, actions of the leader, and personal/all-purpose observations took the center stage of the book. If you are looking for strong details or all ears experiences of persons in their last stage of life—you will likely need to look elsewhere.
