A excellent book with lots of details about Glacier National Park. But, it doesn’t do a fantastic job at explaining the huge picture about the park and helping a first time visitor know the all-purpose layout. There should be a different first few paragraphs that clarify for a first time visitor. I couldn’t find any better books though, so this is a excellent choice.

A fantastic combination of information on all aspects of visiting and staying in and near the park. Compared this to additional books available on Glacier and this one was the best. It is organized well so that it is simple to use. It includes all the information you need on hiking as well as the best places to eat and they were right on the money with their picks!! Fantastic recommendations!
