German Demystified might well be a very serviceable book; but in order for the language to be demystified, a excellent place to start would be demystifying what’s on the Kindle screen. The copious — and essential — tables depicting word definitions, pronunciation, etc. are simply impossible to read lacking a magnifying glass…which would be rather awkward carrying around on a plane or train. Caveat emptor.

Wow, I was wowed after five minutes with this book! Before, all i knew in german was Guten Tuag and nein (my mom when I was a kid used to slap me on the forhead and say nien) now i have this perfect new start into my third language. This book is fantastic and perfect for everybody wanting to learn a new language.
