Where to buy Fundamentals of Electric Circuits books online?
Product Description
Alexander and Sadiku’s third edition of Fundamentals of Electric Circuits continues in the spirit of its successful previous editions, with the objective of presenting circuit analysis in a manner that is clearer, more appealing, and simpler to know than additional, more traditional texts. Students are introduced to the sound, six-step problem solving methodology in chapter one, and are consistently made to apply and practice these steps in practice problems and homework problems throughout the text and online using the KCIDE software.
A balance of theory, worked examples and extended examples, practice problems, and real-world applications, combined with over 300 new homework problems for the third edition and robust media offerings, renders the third edition the most comprehensive and student-friendly approach to linear circuit analysis.

Book came in new condition, but, edges of the book were bent, but I assume that was a result of the shipping and not the shipper theselves. Book came quickly!

Amazon sent me an international version of this book. It is nearly the same but has some differences. The item they show me reviewing is the right one but thats not the one I recieved.

Sadiku is a right educator, most of his his books are written to teach the theme. His books are written primarily written for the student. This text is no exception, his teaching by example approach prepares the reader to solve most of the end of the chapter problems. He open Thevenin’s and Norton’s theories in the clearest way that I have seen. The examples that he gave were brilliant. Also his presentation of 3 phase circuits were superb. I judge any electrical engineering under-grad student that uses his text will develope a strong foundation and be well prepared for the upper-level EE courses.

This book is the book we use in our basic circuits class. This book is reasonably poor. There is way too much focus on derivations and not enough on simple text explanations. Most of the examples are too simple compared to homework problems. Comparing it to some older textbooks such as “Mathematics for Electronics” By Forrest Barker 1st edition, it seems like these newer textbooks just list equation after equation at you lacking explanation. I don’t have too much experience with similar textbooks, but I have a copy of Nilsson-Riedel’s Electric Circuits and it seems much better.
