I bought this book for my spouse and he likes it! There are so many appealing facts in these books. I would suggest this book to anyone who is interested in how things were back in the “ancient” days. Everyone, no matter how young or ancient, will learn something from reading this book.

It is incredible how one generation can have so much information and the next generation misses out. The project to interview and document how “the older generation” used to live provides information to many additional generations across the country. Fantastic information for persons who want to learn how it used to be done. The only problem was with the quality of the book as the pages were falling out.

Not only a written legacy of the way things were done in times gone by, but also some practical information significant to life today.

I have had a copy of this book for many years. I loved the original Foxfire book, and the rest of the series. I am replacing my copies, since I have read them so much they are starting to fall apart. This is a wonderful series of books!
