This was a nice enjoyable tale. It does lend it self to being fleshed out into a full part tale. For me it’s a ‘wish that could be me’ kind of tale

The tale was well told, though predictable. But for me, a time travel tale needs to include a more detailed discussion of thoughts than that is open here. The thought is very intriguing, though, and opens up paths for thought.

I know it is a fleeting but I do wish it could have been longer. The part aside, the tale felt authentic and it was entertaining.

It’s a nice small tale; as the additional reviewers point out, it’s a tad predictable, but I thought the characterization was brilliant, especially the depiction of Wilbur and Orville Wright. Ms Kowal has done the background research that lends them verisimilitude. I also wouldn’t mind seeing Eleanor Jackson, the viewpoint character, again in another tale or two …
