The three books that comprise this trilogy are fun and appealing reads. (I cannot know how additional reviewers can give these books 5 out of 5 stars. What in the world would they rate really excellent literature? And WHY do they feel compelled to tell the entire plot?) I got a small tired of hearing about the selfless sacrifices of these three women by the end of the last book. Let’s face it, when they come from one of the wealthiest families in the country, how sorry can we feel for them if they have to sell their clothes or work two part-time jobs in order to pay the house staff? But all in all, enjoyable books and likeable characters. Unless you have a lot of free time, I would suggest checking out the audio versions from your local library. These are excellent books to listen to while commuting, cleaning house, etc., because there are few characters and the plots are very simple to follow.

This book was very excellent and I loved reading it. Michael and Laura were perfect for each additional. I liked how Michal interacted with her children and how he handled Laura’s older and more hard daughter who gave her an attitude sometimes.

I like this book. It is a tale of a woman finding like again after a broken marriage. Michael’s simple bond with Laura’s children has win them over, even though it was pretty hard with the younger daughter. Laura has to struggle over the chioces of whether to accept Michael. Overall, an enjoyable tale with a hint of humour here and there.
