I am a dog lover and a fan of a excellent dog tale, but was not impressed with this one. While I’m glad that the dog establish a dedicated and loving home and was pleased to see his owners grow as dog care givers; the tale line was clumsy and missing the soul of a fantastic dog book. Even the grammer was clumsy. I could not recommend this as literature to a friend.

I really loved reading this book! I establish humerous things written on every page, and felt terrible when the book was done. You can tell that the leader really has her heart and soul into caring for Buddy and she clarifies how she learned through examination and error. Overall, I reflect anyone could get into this book. It’s an simple read with a few pictures throughout. I plot to read it again and look forwards to it!

As the description says, Buddy was a dog that no one wanted but luckily establish his way into the leader and her spouse’s home and in a fleeting period of time, establish his way into their hearts. Anyone who has had the pleasure of owning or just loving a dog will appreciate this book. While he is not your predictable dog, as you can clearly tell by the end of the first two chapters, he is a lovable pup that really thinks before he acts and sometimes that gets him into distress. For example, eating a bottle cap or running onto a busy street after a cat might be two things any dog would want to avoid, but no harm was done, after all.
As a replacement for of giving training tips on things to do, this book really tells a tale in a humorous way of things NOT to do when trying to train an intelligent dog. You can sense the leader’s frustration, humiliation and then at last her admiration and like for Buddy.
This is a well-written, simple read. I recommend this book to everyone, especially persons who like dogs or have owned a dog. If you have had the luxury of owning a well-behaved dog, you’ll read this book and be thankful and if your dog has ever been to some extent of a challenge, you’ll be relieved to know a name else out there has walked in your shoes!

If you are a dog-lover, you will absolutely like this book. It is a lighthearted, but lovely tale of a dog that was not wanted and was labeled as crazy. The leader and her spouse adopted this pup and tell of the wild behavior that they had to suffer just to get this dog to follow their commands.
I was entertained throughout the whole tale and didn’t want to place this one down. It tells of how it is so simple to lose patience in a dog, but once you know what it is that they want, co-existing with them is something that you grow to like and depend on.
This book is one that I recommend (and have even bought a few of my doggy-loving friends a copy).
