I really appreciated this book. It’s kind of an ancient fashioned Junior League Cookbook. These ladies were raising money by asking chapter participants in each state in the US to submit recipes. The money was being raised to fund trips for less fortunate women to a women’s exposition in the late 1800s. As a replacement for of using modern measurements, they say use 1/2 tea-cup. There are some excellent very ancient fashoned recipes in here. It is fantastic for the cookbook collector or the adventurous cook.
