Product Description
There’s something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.
Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Fee’s attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He’s the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the additional students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every go.
Even though Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce–and goes out of his way to make that very clear–she can’t let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, she has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret . . . even if it kills her.
Dangerously exciting and darkly romantic, Fallen is a page turning thriller and the essential like tale.

Okay so I bought this book today and I have no thought if I am going to like it. Will a name help me out? I am not a huge fan of Twilight, but I don’t despise it with a passion (though I do get why people would). I liked Hush, Hush and Shiver. It annoys me to no end when there is a weak heroine(such as Bella) in books. I also really despise it when the right people do not end up together. IS this book a excellent match for me. This is kind of a weird thing to do, but I did not want to waste 17 dollars on something I am not going to like. Will a name help me out and be as objective as possible (though I know inclination is subjective).

My older sister recommended this book to me. I havent read it yet, obviously. But it looks really excellent. I can’t wait to read it! She said it was excellent and after reading some reviews about it, I am highly anticipating it. I will let the world know what I thought about it when I am done. Until then! Ciao!

I sadly have small constructive to add as I have never read this book.
I just wanted to point and laugh at the irony of the reviewers not more than using something as dreadful as Twilight as a guideline. Don’t listen to them, book leader, please. The world needs less crappy urban fantasy novels. You’d have to really work at it to write something worse than Twilight. Your premise is perhaps overdone but maybe I will read it just to see if you did something appealing with it. If it doesn’t make me feel burning and futile rage towards the powers that be that I am not published yet, then you will have already beaten out Stephenie Meyer as a writer.
(Also, lol at the complaints that the main character is spineless and needy. Because Bella isn’t already the most useless, rage-inducing antithesis to all remotely appealing female protagonists that has come out of young adult literature in the last five years.)

Honestly one of the worst books I’ve read as of late. I do not judge that the leader has an MA in Creative Writing. Who edited this tale? It was full of more holes than swiss cheese. Horrible plot, abysmal characters and laughable setting. Don’t waste your time or money.

the novel ongoing out having the makings of being one of the better series in the young adult romance genre. i have to say that is sort of falls flat. in the beginning when luce meets daniel for the first time i thought the authors take on it was new and different but still remenicent of a certain vampire series we all know all to well. i was really excited , and still will probably buy the next installment of the fallen series, but it never really held my attention .daniel and cam are no match for edward and jacob when it comes to being heart throbs. i am looking foward to really getting into the whos?the whats?and the hows? of the book two. thanks lauren kate from your newest fan. heather belle*
