This was such a waste of time to read…the characters were snobbish, dull, and all had issues that needed to be taken to a psychologist and were for most part unlikable. Kept reading and reading and beyond extreme overkill on the interworkings of being a fantastic writer, this book was a total bomb. Wow how cliche’ of a 50’s mellow-drama…I felt shafted having spent valuable time off on this scornful book…

Terrible! The most dreadful “book” I’ve yet read on my Kindle. Overpriced at $.99. Can’t reflect of a single redeeming factor.

Kept me reading til the end. Appealing and original tale line. I felt the characters weren’t reasonably developed enough in the beginning. I felt that for Andi to all of a sudden need help with her “like life” didn’t fit the character of her that was initially open , perhaps just a bit more development needed before the lead character starts taking her clothes off for instructions from a male escort. Which brings me to my largest qualm with this book. Is it simply a excellent novel/tale or something more? The “message” about sexual inhibitions and women versus men in the world of sex and relationships was all a small heavy handed for me. More like a forum for the leader’s own thoughts on sex and sexual freedom, etc. If that was the point then it was well made but at times I got tired of hearing one person’s opinion on the way sex should be talked about and viewed, etc…. it took away from the tale. It was hard for me to judge that a male escort and an inhibited professor had such deep understanding of the sexual scenery of all men and women enough to be lecturing each additional and us. But I was still interested in the characters and how it all turned out. The only time I wanted to place it down and give up was during some of the sexual scenes where I felt that again, the explicitness of the scene took away from the tale to where you are nearly reading a seedy romance novel, and this is why the book is getting 3 stars as a replacement for of 4.

I wasn’t expecting to delight in this book as much as I did! Honestly, it was .99 and I was looking for a distraction. I finished up painstakingly enjoying this book and when I was finished reading it I had this fantastic feeling of “empowered sexy woman” so I’m thinking I learned some lessons reading it as well as the main character! The synopsis gives a pretty accurate description of the contents. There were a couple spots in the book that I kind of glossed over; the leader got a small too involved in description but all and all a certain recommend. I just downloaded the second book by this leader, reflect it’s a sequel, (hope so!) I really establish myself caring about the characters in this book and felt the anguish Andi felt, wishing it didn’t have to be so hard, building a life changing choice; I wanted to know more about what happened next in their life and where Devin would end up…Can’t wait to start the next book!
