About middle through the book and it has over delivered many times already.
Simple to know, sequential step-by-step actions clearly written, nice touch of humor throughout.
Certainly recommended if you want to know Facebook inside and out.

This is a levelheaded, well-crafted introduction to using Facebook written by two Facebook employees. But it is not the best intro to Facebook that I’ve seen. That honor belongs to “Facebook:The Missing Manual”.
While both books ostensibly take in the same all-purpose theme areas, “Facebook for Dummies” attempts to take in a broader swath of territory. The Dummies layout is also far more text oriented. Both books take in the ancient Facebook graphic interface: it was changed early in 2009 – and both books were published about a year earlier.
Either book will help the devoted reader become very familiar with Facebook and its operation, though I give the edge to “Facebook: The Missing Manual” because its much crisper layout and copious illustrations.
In some ways, “Facebook for Dummies” is more granular than its competition: it covers certain areas in substantially greater depth. The question is whether these more painstakingly covered areas are of interest to you.
The two books are very similar in coverage. If you are seriously interested in understanding the structure of Facebook, buying both wouldn’t be the worst choice you could make. If you can, browse both before building a choice.
Overall, either title will serve you well.

I bought this book, because I kept hearing about all the people building money with Facebook. Was hoping it would be similar to Quit Your Job (and Never Go Back) – How to Make, Start, & Market an Online Business for Under $500 in 30 Days or Less with a concentration on Facebook. Didn’t realize that Facebook was more of a social site than anything else, although there are people building excellent money on it.
While I didn’t find anything about building money with Facebook directly in this book, the sections about connecting with people, building relationships, and networks were all very helpful to me. Facebook is a fantastic way to reach thousands of people with just a few clicks of the mouse and I have made some really excellent business relations by using it.
This is a excellent book. If you delight in the “Dummies” style, you will delight in this book. It had excellent information and is humorous at times. There is certainly some information here, which I had no thought about. Not everything was for me, but I feel I have received excellent value for my money.
