I was misled by this — I thought I would receive the book as a preview of the series. But, nope, this was only what I would expect if I downloaded the normal Kindle sample. Be advised. Bit of tough language being used here. Parenthetically, I would probably buy the whole book — the “preview” was appealing — but now I’m a bit peeved at being misled.

you can see the tale line and ending froma mile away. very slow reading, very featureless, very dull. If you can get through the free sample you did better than me.

Not the book. I received only up to the first 2 pages of the tale, or so. Stupid.
I liked the first 8 books of “Left Behind”. I thought this would be excellent. But this is not a preview….

I recently bought a Kindle and I knew this book was coming out, so I downloaded the first few chapters that Amazon offered for free. And I have to be honest and say that the beginning of the book didn’t capture me like some of Craig Parshall’s additional works. To this day, I have never read any of the books in the Left Behind Series, nor do I care to. I’m not a fan of Tim LaHaye, but, I have read most of Craig Parshall’s novels, and if I had to guess, I’d say Tim did the prophecy part of the book and Craig wrote most of it. Pretty much like Jenkins and LaHaye did with the Left Behind series.
With that said, to date, Parshall’s two stand alone novels, The Resurrection File and Examination by Suffering, are his best fiction work. Parshall has also written a series of additional books with his wife Janet Parshall, that don’t compare to the stand alones. But, this book may have a chance, as Parshall is extremely informed concerning the law (having practiced law for decades), globalism, terrorism and political current events. With the added prophetic knowledge from LaHaye, the book may pick up and be another excellent book to read.
So, as a replacement for of buying the book, I have recently downloaded the Audible version of the book, and once I end listening to the novel, I will update you with my review. As it stands at this point, the preview chapters didn’t draw me in like The Resurrection File did, but agreed the theme matter, the book may pick up.
If you like Parshall’s additional books, then you may also like James Scott Bell or Ted Dekker. By far, the best fiction I have read to date is any of Joel Rosenberg’s books, that is political thrillers at it’s best. Let’s see if LaHaye and Parshall can compare.

Disappointed that this was not a whole book for us to read. What I did read got me caught up in wanting to know what would take place next so look forwards to reading book when it is available.
