I bought this book than returned it. I couldn’t stand the way the content was laid out. Why can’t all the recipes be in one section together as a replacement for of spaced out after each chapter? Also because of the layout, I establish it hard to find information and the pointer was also all lumped together. I finished up buying “Eating Well When You’re Expecting” and it has a seperate Recipes Pointer from the main content pointer.

This is a nice cookbook, but not much more. It does include some nutritional information in the introduction, but the information is VERY basic and not so up-to-date. If you are looking for a decent cookbook, then this book maybe right for you. If you are looking for more of a nutritional guide to pregnancy, then look elsewhere.

Wasn’t just what I expected. Did not find the book very useful. Then again, I’m a very picky eater.

Not what I was looking for. I wanted something that would give example menus for a day of healthful pregnancy eating. This is a collection of recipes much as would be establish in any additional cookbook with a healthy bent. The recipes are fine. The nutritional information section is fine. But nothing I couldn’t have accomplished with the pregnancy books I already have plus a half-way decent cookbook. If you have, for example, What to Expect When You’re Expecting and The Joy of Cooking, this will bring nothing new to your arsenal.
