I bought Find Your Fantastic Work a year or so ago and it has really helped me change the way I reflect about work. I’ve been doing Excellent Work for years and had been reasonably disallusioned by the whole thing. The exercises in Find Your Fantastic Work helped me to identify the kind of work that really gets me excited — Fantastic Work — and come up with some innovative thoughts for doing More Fantastic Work. Michael Bungay Stanier is a smart, insightful and downright delightful guy…his books, along with his wonderful Fantastic Work Interviews (the podcasts are available on iTunes) will change the way you reflect about work and what kind of work you’re doing.

I like the book! Michael Bungay Stanier’s solutions are so simple to place into place. Even my middle school students and members of my family tree and community have taken the bait to do fantastic work. Highly recommended. “Do More Fantastic Work” is so compelling, my students are connecting to each additional in transformative ways. I am not an affiliate. Just taking action.

Michael Bungay Stanier offers a fresh perspective on work.
Michael’s book, as well as his online resources, have been an incredible help. I recently reviewed when Michael’s weekly emails would come into my inbox, and they seemed to have peculiar timing. During a dim week of sparse like, a quote would chime in from his email, where his wife stated to him, “You need less purpose, and more joy.” This exactly mirrored my feelings through the week trying to find my way through life with faith. It’s not simple. Another of my favorites: “The world is puddle-licsious and mud-wonderful.” He is playful, caring, and wants you to find your Fantastic Work, and place behind everything else to focus on what really matters to you. And that can be anything!
Thank you, Michael, for your contribution and practical tips for leading us to find more Fantastic Work in our lives, whatever our job may be.

Bought the first edition. Thumbed through it, made some notes and read the first two sections.
And then it disappeared. This fantastic, fantastic book was gone. It felt like losing a unicorn.
Cheesy, but hey, fantastic work comes from anywhere, right?
PS…I’m trying to talk myself into waiting for the 2nd edition to come out before I buy it again, but I’m not sure I can.
PPS…yes, it’s that excellent that I will probably buy the first edition again, and give it away when I buy the second edition.
PPPS…is it additional Ps or additional Ss? I don’t know because I’ve never done more than one PS.
PPPPS…really fantastic book.
