I establish most of this book useful, things I learned in my education classes came up frequently. I reflect that this book was a bit outdated, although it did have some very significant information. I establish it a bit hard to read because of the language. The content at times was dull. On the whole, I reflect that this book was a excellent past account on what educationally philosophy was in it’s time.

I am a college student majoring in education and I read Democracy and Education for a class. I establish this book to be very incitful. I find it hard to judge that John Dewey one of the most vital philosophers recognizable problems at the beginning of the century and we still have them today. One of Deweys thoughts state that we learn by doing, this is still not a norm in todays curriculum. I thought this book was brilliant but in parts establish it hard to either read or know.
