I like this series and have read all 8 books at least three times. I was very nervous for this book to come out and was very disappointed. Originally I wrote about my frustration with the kindle fee, and after reading the book, I chose to wait and mull it over to see if my result changed or if I appreciated the book any more. Unfortunitely, I don’t. The way the characters acted and spoke were so foreign that this book did not feel a part of the series. Normally, I can not place these books down, but it took me a lot longer to end since I kept putting it down. Plus, even dragging it out the book just seemed way too fleeting, especially with how the book was jam-packed pack with BAM BAM BAM event after event with no regard to Sookie’s result. I agree with additional reviews that said the book felt as though a name else was retelling what happened in the book. After reading the fantastic first chapter on Ms. Harris’ website, I thought the bar was going to be raised for this book. I can’t say that I won’t be buying book 10 (because I will), but, I really hope we get back to what Sookie and crew are all about.

What happened to $9.99 on bestsellers for Kindle? BAD AMAZON! You (and possibly the publisher/leader) deserve a whack across the nose. This book is a product like any additional consumer product. Fee is a legitimate aspect of the review, just as Kindle formatting issues or a terrible pointer might be for another item.

Ive only read 3/4 of the book so far but for you fans of Erics cockiness and irresistable sexual scenery you’ll absolutely like this book. I won’t give out any details that would ruin it for you, but thier relationship takes a surprising twist and its filled with steamy moments that will place you beggin for more! Half way through you’ll need to have a smoke! I truly can’t for the life of me marvel why everyone thinks poorly of this one book in particular, me myself i could care less about the less vital characters as long as i hear about Bill, Eric, Sookie, and yes Quinn……

I like all the Sookie Stackhouse books. I reflect they are all well written, sometimes I feel a small cheated because of the back information from previous books, trying to clarify what is going on in the present book.
The only thing I have a problem with is this book is a larger size Hardback and all my others are smaller paperback. I despise to buy the smaller paperback after I have already bought the huge book.
