Diana Palmer is one of my favorate authors. I have read everything she has written and I agree most of the time her heroines are just too weak. I want to tell them to get a backbone. But, Treacherous is one of her best books for a long time. It tied additional books and characters together to answer a lot of questions. My suggestion to you negative people is do not buy her books. I for one will despise to see her stop writing. She has too many characters left that need their tale told.
Hang in there Ms Palmer. You go girl.

Diana Palmer’s books have permanently been “hit or miss”. But, even when it’s a “miss”, I like her style of writing; and I’ll buy the next book. I just wish her earlier books were hardbacks because I’m a “re-reader”. If I don’t have anything new to read [and judge me, that's rare
] or I just don’t want to get into a new book, I’ll pick up one of several authors – Diana Palmer, Linda Howard, Janet Evanovich, Charlaine Harris, MaryJanice Davidson, Jayne Ann Krentaz, J.D. Robb, Sharon Sala, Susan Andersen, Emma Holly, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Jennifer Crusie; well the list is long; and re-read one of their books. Most of the books I read don’t come in hardback; and thank goodness, because I’d go broke. Some of my paperbacks have fallen apart because I’ve re-read them so many times. I end up buying reprints or going to the used book store to get another copy. Anyway, keep Diana Palmer in your reading loop!

I have really loved many of the books in the LTT series. Sadly, this book was a huge disappointment. I couldn’t wait to end it so I could delete it from my Kindle. I have read and then re-read many of Ms. Palmer’s previous books, but this is one that won’t be read ever again. I feel terribly to give such a negative review to an leader that I have loved so much.
