I like to crochet quick items, especially miniatures. But when I came across The Crochet Dude’s website and checked out his new “Crochet It, Like It, Wear It” book on Amazon, I fell in like with the Debra sweater (and a number of others too)! Of course I bought the book. I have not tried my hand at crocheting sweaters, or any additional type of clothing, but reading through his easily understood instructions gives me the confidence I need to jump right in. My only problem is I don’t know which one to start with! Thanks, Drew, for making such gorgeous designs!

Drew has really come up with a nice group of patterns here, there is something to appeal to everyone amongst these patterns. Fantastic job, Drew! The Saugatuck Summer top is probably the one I will end up building from this book.

Wow, this book is alot larger than I orginally thought it would be and is filled with so many wonderful items to crochet, I dont know where to start first! I like each and every one of the items in the book, and Drew clarifies them so clearly. I hope to be able to make the black dress and post it for Drew and everyone to see!

My grandmother taught me to crochet as a young girl. I switched to knitting because I felt the patterns were more gorgeous, etc. No one was building anything using crochet that interested me. Then, I learned Drew, The Crochet Dude. He is original, creative and modern. The only problem is that I want to make nearly everything from this new book. I reflect I’ll start with the black dress!! Keep it up Drew!

Drew Emborsky features some incredible fashion designs – that are crocheted. If anyone has doubts that a crocheted garment can be high fashion, check out Quintessential, a small black dress, and Budapest Nights, which is an elegant full-part coat.
And I like, like, like Hesperas, a darling dress that easily go to the high school prom.
