This book is nearly an exact duplication of her 2003 book published by Elvenworks Publications. I already had the Elvenwork book and I thought after five years this “new” Watson-Guptil publication would have something new and improved. It was nothing of the kind. I felt no need to have two books virtually the same so I returned the “newest” duplicate version. I was truly disappointed.

I was misled into believing this was a new book. When it arrived, I establish that, except for the take in, it was an exact duplicate of the book I had previously bought from Amazon…same title, same leader. It’s a very comprehensive book, but don’t be fooled into thinking you will be getting new information or new techniques.

Katherine Dewey has place together a really fantastic book on sculpting facts in polymer clay. It’s more geared toward the beginner but there’s plenty in it for more veteran sculptors too.
