I was very disappointed in this book because I’m an veteran quilter and was just looking for inspiration. This book is very basic and meant just for beginners – no inspiration here unless one is just starting out as a quilter. It was a waste of money for me and I’d like to re-sell it at half fee to get back some of what I wasted because I can’t use any information in it. I could have written a better book, for less of a fee and with more information. Very redundant material.

I’m not sure if I can really represent this book well as I’m not an avid quilter but just dap in it from time to time. But I establish the choices used as examples in this book to be dull in color except for the batik project. I know this is a “shortcut” method but this just didn’t deliver the classic crazy quilt design I’m familar with and which I was hoping there would be a really excellent secret to building them super quick. I feel I can just do this on my own and work my squares at random and achieve as excellent results. But view for yourself perhaps it will lend itself to your style and interest, it just wasn’t enough for me.

This is another fantastic pattern book to add to my collection. It arrived in fantastic shape and is waiting for me to have time to make the quilts in it.
