I’ve made 4 recipes so far and all 4 were brilliant!! Made one of the chicken salads and my Spouse requested it again the next week (he is not much of a salad eater either)!! The recipes use few ingredients but taste gourmet and has some brilliant thoughts I never though of.

This book should win an award there are so many fantastic recipes in here that even a child can make its so simple! and super LOW in calories I will revisit this review when i try all the ones i have bookmarked which is alot of them.
Features i like:
Pictures for every recipe and if there is a side dish, salsa, or something extra in the picture there is a recipe for that too…Lots of soup, salad, meatless, beef, chicken and dessert recipes.

I like the menu thought and that all is light in calories etc., but not flavor. This is my 4th Cooking Light cookbook and I have yet to be disappointed.

I just got this book last week and a excellent indication of how much I’m enjoying it is the fact that I have plotted 4 of my 5 week-night dinners this week using recipes from the book. There is a wide range of recipes and I appreciate that there is both comfort-style food (made healthy) and lighter meals. I establish some fantastic recipes that would suit our family tree in the “meatless mains” section. There are plenty of recipes in the meat section that I want to try and the dessert section has some really tasty looking desserts that seem simple to place together.
I did drop a star as one of the thing that made me want to buy it was the “5 ingredient or less” factor. Most of the recipes ARE 5 ingredients or less, but there are a few that call for a sauce/salsa/dressing that is a separate recipe, so therefore pushing the ingredients up to 10 in order for it to be a perfect dish. Of course you can choose to not make these recipes, but I did find that slightly misleading.
Overall a excellent book that meets what I look for in a book – a excellent range of in excellent health recipes that can be made quickly and with few ingredients. I would buy it again.

The is a fantastic cookbook! Simple, tasty and healthy recipes. Recipes are regularly paired to make a perfect meal. I’ve owned this book for a fleeting time and have made many of the recipes – even my picky teenage boys liked them. I highly recommend this cookbook.
