This book is really inspring, and it gave me hope, the same hope I felt after reading the novel Defenders of the Holy Grail, about a woman language her truth. I like both books!

I am only middle through the book, but I’m finding that every chapter I read is very much a rehash of the principles contained in “We Can Work It Out” by Notarius et al. I find it very possible that the leader has read that book and simply regurgitated the principles in his book. While I don’t find that sort of thing very admirable, this book does serve some sort of purpose. That is, to supplement additional works on communicating with your parter and to offer additional examples of excellent communication. While this book was able to give me some new thoughts of ways to communicate with my partner, I find the concept of “electric sex” utterly laughable. It’s just a small too new-age for me.

Putting a broken relationship back together again may seem like a miracle, but as this well-written guide shows, it can regularly stem from honestly minor common-sense steps which the leader shows you how to take. Communication is key to understanding each additional, which in itself is the platform for a fulfilling relationship. “Miracles” are rare (though the leader cites an example of a couple who were brought together when the spouse passed a stool shaped like St Dunstan) – effective hard at a relationship is within anyone’s reach.
