The book is in fantastic condition and it came in a decent amount of time.

Although I scored in the top 15% of persons taking the SS content exam and received an excellence award from ETS for my performance I can’t attribute much or any of that success to this book.
Aside from grammatical errors and errors on the sample tests that an editor should have caught, the content covered in the book was nothing close to the test material.
The leader’s feminist agenda showed through and was annoying and unnessary. Major supreme court rulings listed on the test weren’t mentioned in the book nor did the world history section in anyway help prepare me for the exam.
I bought an e-book that was also terrible except that it served as an brilliant outline for online reading on the topics covered.
This book should be avoided. I’m suprised CliffNotes published it.

This book was advertised as being in honestly excellent condition, but what was not told is that it had been written in on all the key parts which also included the test part. This makes it impossible to study and to apply the test part of the book. The outside of the book was in brilliant condition, but the inside was in poor condition.

Using only this book about 2-3 days of studying before the test, I successfully passed the PPST 7-12 (test number 0524)!
I establish the book simple to navigate and use. As people mentioned, there are a few weird parts where the book refers to chapters that don’t exist and such, but besides these tiny things the content gives a excellent overall look at the type of stuff you’ll want to know for the test.
I was especially apprehensive about this test because I’m in an accelerated teaching program and therefore haven’t been exposed to all the teacher lingo and theory for more than one semester of classes. Nevertheless, this book gave enough info to highlight what was vital to remember from persons classes I took, as well as provide new information and thoughts.
A word of warning – the test is LONG. I took the paper based and I establish that the test was less about being thorough and precise in your answers, and more about really being able to get to every question. I’d rather write quicker and poorer and get at least some points, rather answer 2 questions with perfect scores and then get zero points on the rest simply because I never got to them.

This book is condensed from the additional study guides I have, but there is a lot of extra material for additional tests in there that you don’t need and have to pay for. Excellent info but.
