Fantastic book, will be a classic, exceedingly timely and necessary, perfectly written with style and grace, and oh by the way, the model?
Byrdie Bell? Gorgeous! Of course I’m maybe predjudiced a tad.

This book seems to be reasonably clevery done and I can’t wait to delve in, but, I must remark, I gasped at dead stop on PAGE ONE!
Hackneyed not more than is an excerpt from my letter to Mr. Balsberg. (I will read the book and amend this review later this week).
“Dear, Dear Mr. Balsberg, every lady knows that a lady never ever “sweats”.
Horses sweat, men perspire, but ladies only ever glow!
In the South, no gentleman or lady would ever dare to use that word in the presence of a lady.
Please, please, see that the next printing rectifies this misconduct.
I do so hope the remainder of the book is less shocking.
Sincerely,
Miss Kris,
New Orleans”

I am ecstatic about this book! It seems like classy ladies like me are extinct in today’s world. Yes, I know they exist but anyone like me can say if you don’t want to show off every body part to the world; you have felt like a prude in comparison. I just took a quiz by the leader Derek Blasberg from [...] and after I passed with every answer right; I knew I had to buy this book and tell the world that to all you hoochies, hussies and tramps; it is time to reflect Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly and be a lady…or if persons women are unknown to the younger sect; try Dita Von Teese, yes she may be a burlesque dancer but that is a classy strip and Dita is classy…even Derek Blasberg thinks so!

I really loved this book. Apart from enjoying it, I learned a lot. A woman like me should not have any excuse to be a “tramp” or not to have “class” . “Class” gets you in privileged places. “Tramp” in disrespected avenues of nowhere.
Derek Blasberg looks like a modern Truman Capote. He has a lot of legendary and elite friends from NYC to Hollywood. I watch E! Channel (guilty pleasure) a lot, so I am reasonably knowledgable with the happenings in Hollywood, papparazis, red carpets, etc.
I am not from NYC or the West Coast. I live in the Washington DC Metro Area. I see a lot of chic, “Classy” women; not just classy but also powerful (I guess chic, “class” and power” go hand in hand). I have permanently admired these women and want to be one of them.
I selected up this book because I promised myself that I could transform myself for the best.
I am in my mid-twenties, married with a son, and has a thriving career in the biopharma industry. I own LVs, Prada and designer clothing (I guess I am covered in the style area, thanks to the Lucky Style Manual Books 1 and 2), but I am not reasonably excellent in the area of “socialization.” I do not go to nightclubs and skip a lot of family tree parties and office luncheons. This book has opened my eyes to the proper way of being a host/hostess and guest. So the next time around I get invited, I will make sure I apply what I learned from this book.
This a very timely book. This is for every young women who can’t seem to find a book about manners in this age of Blackberrys, status bags, Hollywood and where there are no holds barred!
