Clairvoyance means factually nothing more than “clear seeing,” and it is a word which has been sorely misused, and even degraded so far as to be employed to clarify the trickery of a mountebank in a variety show. For the purpose of this treatise we may, perhaps, define it as the power to see what is hidden from ordinary physical sight. Let me make two points clear before I start. First, I am not writing for persons who do not judge that there is such a thing as clairvoyance, nor am I seeking to convince persons who are in doubt about the matter. Before a detailed explanation of clairvoyance can usefully be attempted, but, it will be necessary for us to devote a small time to some preliminary considerations, in order that we may have clearly in mind a few broad facts as to the different planes on which diviner vision may be exercised, and the conditions which renders its exercise possible.

Clairvoyance by C.W. Leadbeater is, from my standpoint, a very hard to locate book. At around $28.00, this copy is also reasonably expensive. On Amazon there are several books that come up when searching for this one, usually with yellow covers, that only include about 18 pages, which is basically sold one chapter at a time. This version of the book is perfect. but, for the fee, I was expecting a privileged quality of printing and packaging. The text on the pages isn’t even typeset, or a “fresh” version – it is more like a xeroxed manuscript, with bent letters, blurs, and toner spots. The binding and take in are flimsy at best. I guess what’s really vital are the words, and I mean, it IS the actual text of the book in its entirety, but if you have any taste for packaging or collectability, this will place you disappointed. Looks aren’t everything, but a $28.00 xerox in a featureless take in is not what I expected.

One of the best and most credible accounts on the phenomena known as clairvoyance I have ever read. I wish I had learned this leader ten years ago! A very excellent read.

It was one of the first books by C. W.Leadbeater I have read and I was truly inspired to read it further and further. As a nautral psychic, the leader writes, in his natural way, about his own experiences in the physical and astral plane while using the ‘clear sight’. Moreover, it shows it is possible for mostly anyone to buy this ability and also shows the wonderful advantages of having this so-called gift. Finally, this practical yet complex book gives a few instructions which can be useful to people like us who wish to renovate and perhaps start seeing as clear as its leader does.
